Cost Per Use Calculator
Formula: cost per use = (purchase price ÷ expected uses) + energy per use + consumables per use.
Example: $35 ÷ 500 uses = $0.07/use. $120 ÷ 2,000 uses = $0.06/use — only if both lifetime guesses hold. If the $120 item lasts only 1,000 uses, it becomes $0.12/use and the conclusion reverses. Always test a range: what if it lasts half as long? Twice as long?
Use the electricity calculator for energy per use, then add it here in your head or spreadsheet: purchase/use + kWh/use × rate + consumables/use. Lifespan is a guess — a single decimal without a range is misleading precision, and this site will not present one that way.
